lyrics

I’d like a season to define our love, to light our tired eyes.
I’d like a season to remind us, we still feel alive.
Would you like a season to define us, love, to matte our crying eyes?
I’d like a season hold us when we’re still falling.

Summer she’s walking away.
Soon she’ll fall back on me.
Winter she’s got her way.
Spring it on me, she’s done it again.

I’d like a season to refine our love, to soothe our wild eyes.
A certain season, cool without reason.
We still feel alive

Would you like a season to refine our love?
Simmers our quiet eyes.
I’d like a season to remind us that we’re still falling.

Summer she’s walking away.
Soon she’ll fall back on me.
Winter she’s got her way.
Spring it on me, she’s done it again.

I’d like a season to define our love.
Where the skies ignite.
Where we reunite.

about

Tyburn Saints New York

You could call Tyburn Saints' genre of haunting & maudlin rock "death indie." Following in the steps of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds before them (singer Johnny Gimenez sounds like the love child of Cave and Ian Curtis), their music is dark, dark, dark. With a set list full of murder ballads, the Saints lull you into a false sense of security while their lyrics are a bit more sinister.
